About
The owner of the business, Tracy Barnard says: " I am passionate about what I do " and " I love a challenge " .

Since the age of 12 my Dad would ask me : What do you want to be when you grow up ? And i would answer : "An Interior Decorator Dad"

My parents then found a college that offered a Decorating/Design coarse that i could also complete with my Matric, so as much to my disgrace of leaving high school in Std 8 I went to study Interior Decorating. After completing my coarse i then realised WOW I'm going to start working well before my friends as they had just finished Matric in normal school and had to still go and per sue their studies whilst I had already started working in the industry of my dreams!

In my final year at Parktown College, i was awarded with the :
"Top decorating Student of the year award"
I was so thrilled with this award and i know i had my parents proud that evening!

When completing my decorating studies at Paktown college ( old Johannesburg Techinicon ) in 1997, i was Managing a restaurant in Mondeor - "The Fish Market" I decided to study a further year at "The South African School of Design" .

I then in 1998 started my career working with a successful Decorator in Linden - Johannesburg, at only the age of 19, I started my career as an apprentice and was defiantly "thrown in the deep end" as they say! This pronoun Decorator/Designer was busy working on a huge Hotel/ upmarket Lodge in Zimbabwe which was absolutely amazing to work and such an honour! What I had learnt in the time frame of almost a year would have taken the average starting decorator/ Designer a good couple of years.! With the Honour of working on this successful project and working hand in hand with Linda on other numerous projects - this is whom I give my thanks and success to today with everything I learnt whilst working for her! Thank you Linda.

Whilst working with Linda, i also completed a 3 year Correspondence Design & Decor Coarse with Sheffield School of Design in London, and completed my degree in the year of 2000.

Before opening my business in April 2007, I had worked with several firms in the decorating industry in Johannesburg since 1998, i gained great experience and have formed fantastic relationships with both suppliers and clients whom have all become such great friends!

Residential work is my passion! I love working with a client on their "New House" to make and create their "New HOME"
